[REVIEW] MISSHA ALL-AROUND SAFE BLOCK PRESSED SUN CREAM SPF 50+/ PA +++
[Product Review] Missha All-Around Safe Block Pressed Sun Cream SPF 50+/ PA+++
Howdi guys? here's another product review on Missha's Safe Block Pressed Sun Cream :)
I learned about this product when my aunt, who also visited Korea last fall, asked me to buy her another one because her compact is almost consumed and she told me how much she liked the product so I bought her one and decided to also purchase one for myself because I want to try it out hihihihi. So I've been using this product for almost two weeks now (but not on a daily basis, because I'm still hooked with my ELF face powder). I just use this when I feel like I'll be exposed to the sun more because this product has higher SPF compared to the oner one I'm using.
COST: 19,800₩ (around 734 php.) but I got it for 17,820 ₩ (around 660 php.) because they give a 10% discount for foreigners ;) You just have to present your passport (that's another tip when you shop for makeups around Myeongdong area). For 660, it's still quite expensive though and I just realized it today hahaha moving on...
VOLUME: 12g.
DESCRIPTION:
1) The pact containins UV blocking ingredients and nutritious ingredients like MISSHA sun cream, it enables you to protect the skin from UV rays more conveniently.
2) The pact protectsthe skin from outer harmful environment (e.g. against UV rays). The pact als contains Antozone Rose extracted from Dahurian Rose, it protects the skin from outer harmful environment like fine dust and ozone.
3) It also contains patent ingredient, Hollyhock extract(Patent no. 10-0887294), aloe extract and cucumber extract, they revitalize and protect fatigued skin against UV rays.
HOW TO APPLY:
After applying foundation or BB cream, pat lightly over the face with encased puff/ (kabuki brush)
TEXTURE: Fine and soft to touch, it is lightweight and is best used with a powder brush (I don't use the puff inside because I feel that the powder brush (kabuki brush I'm currently using) picks up more powder than the puff and using the brush will allow consistency and an even finish on the (facial skin).
SCENT: It doesn't smell good, but it doesn't smell bad either. It has a faint sun block smell (maybe because of its SPF content)
PROS:
- It is super lightweight
-easy to blend
- it has a sheer finish
- it has high SPF
- I like the compact :> it's like a clam :)))
CONS:
- The free puff doesn't pick much color so you better use a kabuki brush instead
- The smell :)
- Not that long lasting. You have to reapply every after 4 hours based on my experience hehe
I'll try to post SWATCHES soon.
Bye Bye for now!!! :) <3
P.S If you live in South Korea and you think you like this product, go to MISSHA stores now because they are having a 1+1 (buy 1 take 1) promo on this product!! visit their site for more info. www.missha.net :)

[PRODUCT REVIEW] The Face Shop ARSAINTE ECO-THERAPY Essential Cream
The ARSAINTE line comes with 3 products, (Toner, Emulsion, and Cream). I bought the essential cream because I prefer to use creams than emulsions (but I heard that emulsions are better at hydrating and moisturizing the skin, but I really don’t know coz I have not personally used one). I prefer to use creams because I find creams more gentle and not that watery, I guess :p
-It has an ECOCERT- (meaning) the 100% bamboo extract used was certified in lieu of water.
-It has OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA(wheeew! that was hard!) fruit extract which facilitates skin hydration.
- Formula without 7 additives
- Dermatology tested
- No animal tested
- Respects the environment
- Packaging printed with SOY INK :)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This essential cream comes with a high concentration of moisturizing properties which can be easily spread on the skin to maintain a balance of moisture as well as to improve skin moisturization with this high-moisturizing cream.
COST: 14,900 ₩ (about 552 php) Sadly, it wasn’t on sale since it’s a new line and they are still currently promoting it on print and TV ads.
TEXTURE: creamy and watery
SCENT: faint fresh smell which is a so-so for me. I DON’T HATE it, but I don’t find it pleasing to smell at the same time. :/

[REVIEW] Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB SPF 20 PA++
[Review] Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream
When I went to Korea (Myeodong specifically) I happened to pass by Holika Holika store and I knew I had to get inside the store and see what they have to offer. This BB cream is actually popular, I saw good reviews of this in youtube, blog sites and beauty apps that I happen to download in my iPad. A lot of girls were crazy about this product which is why I decided to try this out using the store's tester and amazingly, It impressed me.
At that time (LUCKILY) HH was on sale, all products were 30% off the price tag. So without much thinking, I immediately grabbed one and stashed it to the basket they handed me upon entering the store. I haven't seen HH stores in Incheon (where we stayed). Unlike Faceshop, Skinfood, Etude house, and Nature Republic (they are everywhere! subways, malls, and even just in sidewalks) I find HH stores hard to find.
SKIN BACKGROUND: Super DRY and SENSITIVE
COST: orig. price was 13500 ₩ (500 php.) but since it was 30% off, I bought it for 9450₩ (350 php.)

HOW TO USE:
Take an appropriate amount with spatula and evenly spread onto facial skin by patting gently with a puff.
SCENT: faint fresh scent
Pros:
*Makes skin fully hydrated
*Spreads out easily
*Easy to blend
*Aqua based
*Medium coverage
*Light weight
*Last long
*It didn't dry out my skin
Cons: (this is hard)
Honestly, I can't really say anything bad about this product since it didn't cause me breakouts or anything. Instead, I received a lot of compliments about how glowing my skin is and etc.
But, if anything bad comes up, I'll just update this part right here, I guess hihihi ;)
P.S: I'll post a swatch soon!!!

[REVIEW] Innisfree Apple Juicy lip and eye (makeup) remover
I’ll start off with this Apple Juicy lip and eye make-up remover by INNISFREE (purify apple cleanse) #iwonderewhykoreanskincareproductshavereallylongnames# anyway, it says in its packaging that it quickly removes eye make-up and it cares for DELICATE skin and it has an apple delight scent which I REALLY LOVE!!! You just have to smell it! It smells like a whole bucket of green apples ^_*
I honestly didn’t plan to purchase a lip and eye make-upremover since I was contented with just using petroleum jelly (yes, it works!!!!) to remove my gel eye liner (i usually don’t wear mascaras or eye make-up). But hey! I’m in Korea (the make-up wonderland) so why not purchase one where it’s more cheaper and more ?organic?.
Since I have SUPER DRY and SENSITIVE skin, I have to be really picky with this one because I’ve tried using local lip and eye removers but it didn’t work for me. Instead they make my eyelids SUPER DRY and scaly. But I didn’t want to regret in the end, so after much thinking, I purchased this. I was supposed to get the Missha lip and eye remover but since my Korean friend uses this and I’ve tried using it and I fell in love with the smell, I decided to buy this insted ;) and I think this is cheaper than the Missha one, I can’t really remember :p
SKIN BACKGROUND: I have VERY SENSITIVE AND DRY SKIN
COST: 3500 ₩ which is roughly about 130 php.
TEXTURE: Mixture of water and oil. You have to shake it before you use it because the oily part usually sits on top of the water if you don’t shake it. SO YOU HAVE TO SHAKE IT BEFORE USING IT to get the right amount of water and oil hihihi.
DIRECTIONS: shake well to activate the formula and pour adequate amount onto cotton pad and then place over lip or eye area for 5 seconds to dissolve and remove make-up.
Pros:
So far, after using it for 2 weeks, it didn’t dry my eyelids which means that it is really GENTLE and it effectively removes my mascara (and yes, I started wearing mascaras again because I have the perfect eye remover for it hahaha) #refer to the 3rd picture above#
And before I forget, it also works as a lipstick remover buuuut, I haven’t tried it for my lips coz, I find it weird. I guess? hahaha
Cons:
Some people usually prefer make-up removers which are oil-free. So if you are that kind of person, this make-up remover is not for you :) But since, I have very dry skin, its oil content actually moisturizes my eyelids so it doesn’t leave my eyelids dry and flaky :))
So before this make-up review gets too long (and boring? NOOOOOO!) , I have to end it here.
P.S I strongly recommend this product to those who have very dry and sensitive skin. Trust me, IT’S WORTH it :)
